The Clarks Fork Yellowstone Partnership is hosting Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 29 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Finn Park in Red Lodge! 
This year’s family outreach day will again feature several stations focused on fun, river health activities, with the addition of a unique opportunity to pick up some fly fishing tips from
USA Women’s Fly Fishing Team Three Time World Championship Competitor 
Lindsay Szofran!
Stations will be family friendly, so plan to pack up and come down to Red Lodge for an afternoon by Rock Creek! Topics will include:
  • Tips for fly fishing success
  • Beavers and their role in a healthy watershed
  • Your favorite fishing buddies – macroinvertebrates and water bugs
  • Rolling rivers dynamic water cycle
  • What we measure when we sample for water quality
Lindsay and Andy Szofran of Fly Fishing Only Adventures* will lead our fly fishing station this year! Lindsay and Andy have been guiding on the Yellowstone, Stillwater, Rock Creek and Clarks Fork for many years, and have great tips for fishermen of all ages to make the most of your next fishing adventure.
Family Fun Day is open to the public and free of charge to attend. Finn Park is located on the south end of Red Lodge, one block east of Broadway, on the corner of 17th St E and Platt Ave S. Signs will be posted to help direct traffic.
