Joel Adams
Board Chairman
Joel brings extensive experience in geology, hydrology, and water resource management to the Clarks Fork Yellowstone Partnership Board. Originally from Columbus, Montana, he attended high school in Cody, Wyoming, before earning a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Science in Hydrology from the University of Idaho.
Throughout his career, Joel has worked as a hydrogeologic consultant in Oregon, Switzerland, and Montana. His professional background includes environmental hydrology, radioactive waste site characterization, water resources, and water rights. He currently serves as North American Director for the Mine-Water-Geotech division of IPI Packers.
Joel is committed to watershed stewardship because he believes the well-being of a community is directly connected to the health of its watershed. Through CFYP, he values the opportunity for diverse voices to come together, learn from one another, and work collaboratively toward the long-term health and resilience of the Clarks Fork Yellowstone watershed.
